Kara,
Why the angular site would need to be soften? and what does it mean to be soften,

An Angular site of a building needs to be soften or an angular Mass and volume?

How many people would look at the building as birds compared to people who look at it from eye level in street level?
The site plan is a reflect (MIRROR) of the human eye level (street) experience.

"Section to plan" study Diagram would help you and us in this case.

I wonder if Ft.Worth pools scale, Idea and figure really satisfy your ambitious partie and Idea of the canyon and water in architecture.

You did alot of research and studies, I think its time to apply them more and more and more closely in your building.

So far You are looking at your project from an bird eye level in all aspects. I would go down to the street, and see whats really the project all about. in its real scale that match your canyon Idea. your project has much more potential than Ft.Worth. In the sence of sustainbility, engaging concept for users and the canyon experience that you tring to shrink it to pools!

I suggest you develop the canyon more and engage it with the dorms, perhaps the studio also, from the outside to the inside.

Keep up the amazing Ideas.and keep away shy pools.

Kara,
your latest postings are great to explain the direction you want to take. Please translate into your project, as time starts to run out. I need to see plans, site plan, elevations, sections both for structure and buildings services.
